Counselors to America's Small Business is a non-profit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce.  Founded in 1964, there are 389 SCORE chapters located throughout the United States and its territories.  More than 10,500 volunteer executives and business owners, both working and retired, donate their time and expertise as business counselors.

Headquartered at the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce, SCORE Chapter 578 provides valuable One-to-One business counseling and a wide variety of educational seminars and workshops across Northern Michigan.  More than forty SCORE Counselors, all local business veterans, are ready to assist small businesses and their operators throughout the region.

The SCORE Business Builders Seminar Series is a special learning opportunity offered exclusively to the small business clients and friends of SCORE Chapter 578 in Traverse City.  A wide range of topics, centered on the operational aspects of modern entrepreneurship, are presented by knowledgeable facilitators and discussion leaders.  Participation is open to all having an interest in small business success.
