Learning opportunities for small business operators of Northern Michigan, and those who would like to be, are held free of charge on the following dates. Unless otherwise indicated, all events are held from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the McGuire Community Room at the Traverse Area District Library, 610 Woodmere Avenue in Traverse City.

Each of these valuable workshops is brought to you at no cost due to the support of The Bank of Northern Michigan, Fifth Third Bank, First Community Bank, Huntington Bank, mBank, Traverse City State Bank and the Traverse Area District Library.

February 10 Three Steps to Savvy Business Planning

April 14 Social Media Marketing - Here's Where to Start
Social Media is rapidly changing the way you connect with customers, and understanding how to effectively use this tool is important to all small business operators. The first of a two-part series, this workshop will cover the basic concepts of Social Media marketing, with a discussion of more advanced tools to follow in May.

This is a must for current users of Facebook Business pages and for those wanting a better understanding of Social Media Marketing.
